Kiser House Restaurant

A bit about the building. It was the home of Meriwether Kiser, a merchant who ran a mercantile in Jonesboro, Georgia. In 1990, the great-grandson of Meriwether Kiser offered the 1854 house to Westville including moving expenses, and an endowment. The house was converted to a restaurant and serves the guests of Westville. The restaurant is a great respite for one to take a break and have a snack or meal.

The Kiser House Restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sundays 1-4 pm.

In addition to its regular menu, the Kiser House offers seasonal meals based on special events and period recipes.

This fully accessible restaurant is air conditioned and can seat 48 people. Additional seating is on the porch and at the picnic tables in the yard.

Restrooms and first aid are available at the Kiser House.
